If someone asks me that do my students leave my classroom equipped for success using 21st century skills. Um...... How do I answer this? I can only say that they don't have the fear of trying new technology. I pass down the attitute, but it all comes back to them whether they hold on to those important characteristics, such as: brave, curiosity, insistence, creativity etc.. What are my strengths and challenges in regards to 21st century teaching and learning? My strengths are also my challenges in this case. I am always waiting for the newest and easiest version of certain kind of software before I really try on. I might be slow in following some trends, but I save some time on trying out some complex versions that is eliminated quickly. | Have you ever dreamed of your technology future like this? Isn't this amazing? I can't help asking myself that how it will change the classroom settings, hense classroom management skills. And am I well prepared for 21st century teaching and learning if all of these come true? Gladly that I don't have the fear of new technology. Sadly that I don't have a plan to devote some time to learn new technology daily. I can only hope that new technology will become more and more foolproof and personalization. |
